Why do I need a make-up artist?
There are a lot of reasons why people use make-up artists,
here are some popular ones:  you might be uncertain about what colours
to use; lack of confidence with application techniques when longevity and make-
up for photography is required; you might want to be pampered on your big day.

What products and equipment do you use?
My professional equipment consists of a variety of high-quality products that she has found to be
the best such as MAC, Bobbi Brown, Dior and Estee Lauder to name but a few.  Professional brands are
also used such as Mary Kay and Fero.  For those with a higher sensitivity to certain ingredients, hypo-allergenic
products are used.

I use a range of synthetic and natural hair brushes which are cleaned after each client.  Eirene adheres to hygiene
practices and disposable applicators are used where necessary.

When is the best time to have a trial?
The sooner the better!  When you have made up your mind about your dress, your hair and accessories, the style and colours of
the wedding or special occassion, flowers and other important details for you then we can have the trial.  If there are any magazine
cuttings, photos or fabric swatches available please bring them along. Even though there is no general timeline to be followed, I
would advise leaving it no later than 5 weeks before the day, unless you are having a tanning treatment prior to your event.

Please tell me more about the trial...
The trial lasts approximately 2 hours and 1 hour for each extra person.  Other people are welcome to attend.  We will discuss all the
important details of your wedding and based on this information I will create your look using the most appropriate products.  We can
modify the look if necessary until you are 100% confident with the end result.

And what happens on the day?
On the day I will arrive in accordance to our agreed schedule, allowing plenty of time.  The timings will be carefully planned in
advance to ensure that everyone is ready in good time.  The bridal or special occassion make-up will take about 45 to 50 minutes
while each other person's will take about 30 to 35 minutes.  Hair should preferrably be done before make-up but I can work
around the hairdresser if necessary.

Are you insured and can I come to you?
Yes, I am fully insured; however I am only covered to practice my services at your home or chosen venue.

Do you do hair and nails?
No but if you do not know where to start I am happy to recommend some trustworthy professionals.

Do you accept credit cards?
I accept credit card payments via PayPal.  Please contact me  and I will send a payment request
as appropriate.
